Oscar preparations under way

HOLLYWOOD — A section of Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Kodak Theatre was closed Feb 16, 2009, at 10 p.m. in preparation for the 81st Academy Awards ceremony and would not reopen until 6 a.m. Feb. 24.
